Sometimes what we say isn't what we feel
People say you don't know what you've got until it's gone. Truth is, you knew what you had, you just never thought you'd lose it.

Korea (Day 4 & 5)

 Day 4

Day 4 was our school exchange day with National High School of Traditional Arts , so i didnt really take much pix haha.
So we had a powerpoint presentation that we prepared for but didnt present due to lack of time. But ya, i think even if we did it would be quite hard for the tour guide (our translators). The koreans over there barely speak english, so ya haha quite happy we didnt present in the end. And omggg all of them were so cute i swear, the guys and the girls.

Learned how to play the Changgu from one girl and some other guys. But only one guy was kinda like in charge of me grace and rach. He really looked like a combination of daesung and onew NO JOKE HAHA. And actually i have a pict of him since one of the korean guys added me, but i shan't post it cause it feels too stalkerish hahahah.

After that, had gayageum learning session and it was damn fun cause all the ppl there were really high. And they started blasting gangnam style, gee, BB songs and stuff hahaha.
 My buddy and me-looking-absolutely-horrible.
 Mirabel and her buddy!
Lunch at the school was not bad ^_^
Realised that this was GD's high sch so i'm very happy hahaha.

Headed to Dongdaemun. Was an ATAS place, plus it was all winter wear. So me rach grace headed to some other place to get our stufffffff. But we still did buy a few things from the souvenier shop/stationary shop at dongdaemun la..  i bought like 20xmas cards and a 2013 planner :)
Dinner was Chinese food, and i sat with the year ones & the usual rx g r. Because i was the oldest (other than rx) there, i helped to serve tea, soup BLA. and that instant i became the year 1's mummy for the rest of the trip *____* Felt like a TV providing entertainment to the year ones man.

Ma loots.
Stockings, snacks the high school provided us with, a small tumblr, bookmarks, xmas cards.

Day 5

After breakfast, we headed to the Museum of Traditional Korean Music.

The Year 1s. The one in the middle kept taking my photos omg!!!!
New fact learned after the exchange programme: I can't play the gayageum.
Damn lame idk why i posed with them HAHA.

I feel like i look like lambo LOL.
Year 2s.
Changgu.

Went to insadong antique street after that (if im not wrong) and bought a few stuff.
This lunch was not very good for me CAUSE I HATE MUSHROOMS WTF WHOEVER INVENTED MUSHROOMS.............. But the rest aka the meat, veggie, black beans, kimchi were all so naise and we refilled our meat too HAHAH so.. yup i still enjoyed it.

Headed to the Seoul Citizen Safety Training Centre after that.
Damn cool hahahah.
We got to experience smoke stimulation. They made us climb thru some kinda mini playground place (PITCH BLACK AH I TELL YOU at the front part) first before the real thing. After we took a slide down to the real place, everything was smoky and white and we had to crawl and just follow the wall (i could still see a bit of it). BUTTTT After sm the whole place turned red and i was so shocked because i suddenly couldnt see anything but red, and then i rly had to just follow my sense of touch. PRETTY SCARY EXPERIENCE ....
Learned how to use the fire extinguisher after tht, and my group and i failed the mission we made our house catch on huge fire lol -_-

Had earthquake & medium typhoon experience after that. Wah the typhoon rly cannot be underestimated man the wind is .. huge.

If only singapore was bigger ):

Since we finished our itinerary for that day pretty early, we headed to a temple. I can't really describe how solemn & peaceful the temple there is, but ya i felt pretty at ease over there. Even tho it disturbed me for quite some time that i raised my voice (we were late lol ) near some small hut where people were praying. Felt like it was much too unnecessary and felt very bad too TT

Can you just imagine walking thru this beautiful place with your surroundings being so so quiet yet peaceful.
Love this photo. Those are red lanterns hung on the ceiling, and from watching hk dramas.. i presume those slips of paper are people's wishes.

ok not even lying but my boots are frictionless on snow, and i slipped once just to get to that place.
AND THEN because we wanted to take photos, i have to walk down a very very mild slope BUT STILL I SLIPPED TWICE.
I swear i took like 10 minutes just to get from my that position to rachel's position LOL. [Showing you a very paiseh side of me HAHAHAH]

'Since mu rong took so long to get there, why dont you all take more pix'
LOL.
 I love the bkgrd hahaha.
Our dinner wasnt all that fantastic, but i loved the veggie and tofu and salad (and this is me sounding absolutely like a bloody vegetarian) but i liked the beef too which was finished in a whoooosh. We had rice tea this time. Its abit too long to explain, but in summary its just water soaked in left over rice heated up by the pot thingy.
Should have bought some utensils home.. but i thought my mum would scold me. In the end she scolded me for not buying -______-

Had to pour out the rice into another bowl before doing the rice tea hahaha. Its quite stupid la actually LOL.
Camwhored after that because ma table finished dinner early.

Look who's looking like a real ass pig hahaha.

These two kept bugging me for a picture, so yes yes i finally relented. Ms teo even said during the debrief that she was shocked because she always thought i was a very cool and dao person, and never expected me to mix with the year ones HAHA. Its quite true la actually, i would hardly talk to them if they didnt start staring at me, taking my unglams & calling me mummy !!!!!! BUT NUUBAD, IM A COOL AND DAO PERSON HAHAHA.

 Bought this @ the street.
Stickers, brownie, some souvenirs, etude house freebies, 3 bottles of hello kitty perfume that i absolutely adore, laniege freebies, laniege products my sis asked me to get for her. I swear hunting this shop down took me like FOREVER wtheck, and now i'm especially sensitive to the shop name.
This was our hotel for 5 days. Small, small, and small hahahha.
