Sometimes what we say isn't what we feel
People say you don't know what you've got until it's gone. Truth is, you knew what you had, you just never thought you'd lose it.

please be true

i don't know if I'm the only one on Earth
who hates this feeling
when you plan everything so meticulously and spend time on it, spend time discussing, looking forward to it and trying to formulate a plan as beautiful as you want it be, something like building a sandcastle..
and then one drop of rain falls from the sky.
You thought it was nothing, you thought your castle was strong enough to handle that tiny droplet.

but we all know that rain doesn't come in drops, they come in downpours.
So when these thousands and millions of rain droplets get into contact with your sandcastle, your sandcastle falls. It crumbles into nothing, vanishing into thin air.

Your plan failed, not because it didn't reach the end result that you were hoping for, but because of the fact that your plan didn't even start in the first place.
And you can't argue back, you can't defy the nature because .. it is is nature after all. You can't defy it because you should have blamed yourself for not building the sandcastle on a sunnier day, you should  blame yourself for not checking those nasty black clouds before you left home for the beach.
You should have better understood what were the concerns involved, you should have realised that there was a flaw in your plan right from the start.

but plans can never be perfect aren't they
so right now all i have to do is take a deep breath,
and move on.

ok bye random rant.
